There is a storage area behind the clock (door). So you can keep valuables, a hidden key , or whatever you like.

The whole clock weighs 20 pounds and measures approximately 17” tall x 15” wide x 10” deep (at base)

Inside storage area measures approximately 9.5” wide x 10.5” high x 5.5” deep.

There is a small scratch on lower right of door (as pictured).
