1997 Pinnacle Mint (Quarterback club) set. Features 2 cards that were made with the coin hole, and 3 coins that were pulled separately. I remember when these babies were just getting into circulation. It was fun trying to get the player card AND coin. And my friends/fellow collectors were always looking to trade and make deals. This set here has the silver coin which was actually more rare than the gold. And on this particular pair, the picture of Sanders on the card is identical to that on the coin. They are definitely a favorite in the hobby. I see them at shows and they sell FAST. The silver coin and card are actually different than the gold, in that they commemorate one of Sanders'' achievements. Which is starting a career with 8 straight 1,000 + yard seasons. This is a very reasonably priced, solid investment for any collector. And obviously, a must have for a Lions fan.
